Dancers gear up for major competition
Pupils of the award-winning school will showcase their work to a set of judges at the Choreographic Cup at the Lawrence Batley Theatre on Sunday, April 2.
The various Choreographic performances are divided into Juniors (6-10) and Intermediates (11-14), with marks awarded for presentation, innovation, style, costume and musicality. The show also features seniors performing work choreographed by KPSD Creative Director Rachel Bowers.

Hide AdKatie Philpott said: “I thought it would be difficult to top last year when we celebrated our 15th anniversary with a special show and won a My Mirfield Award.
“However, 2017 is proving to be just as busy! We’re honoured to be finalists again and, inspired by our student Niamh Biltcliffe, we’re fundraising for Rays of Sunshine which makes dreams come true for poorly children.”
