Committed supermarket staff have been given two top awards for their fundraising efforts.

Staff at Asda in Dewsbury were presented with two awards for fundraising work they have done for the supermarket’s charity, Tickled Pink.

Members of staff at the Mill Street West supermarket raised £10,300 for the charity, which supports Breast Cancer Care and Breast Cancer UK charities.

Sharon Kingswood, community colleague at the supermarket, was given the award at a ceremony in London by Asda’s chief operating officer Mark Ibbotson.

The supermarket was also given an award for its work with the community.
