This year’s Reporter Series Business Awards will be held amid the glamour and splendour of Dewsbury Town Hall.

The Victorian hall, which is grade II listed, boasts spectacular features, including original stained glass windows, wood panelling, beautiful marble columns and ornate ceilings.

And the night will begin in style with a drinks reception kindly sponsored by Kirklees Council.

Guests will then enjoy a fabulous three course meal in the venue’s main hall, where the awards will be presented to the lucky winners.

The black-tie awards – sponsored by Specsavers – will be held on Thursday October 24, presented by BBC Look North’s Claire Frisby.

The evening is an excellent opportunity to network with other businesses from across the district.

We are looking for businesses of all shapes and sizes, as long as they have been trading since at least April 2012.

We will feature as many entries as possible in our papers, the Dewsbury Reporter, Batley and Birstall News, Spenborough Guardian and Mirfield Reporter.

We’ll also announce the finalists and feature full coverage of the awards and, more importantly, the winners.

To enter the Reporter Series Business Awards, simply visit http://www.jpeventsnorth.co.uk and fill out the nomination form.

Alternatively, download and email the entry form to deputy editor Kate Wobschall kate.wobschall@ywng.co.uk or send by post to Kate Wobschall, deputy editor, Reporter Series, 17 Wellington Road, Dewsbury, WF13 1HQ.

The closing date for entries is Saturday August 31.
