ACROBATS, tightrope walkers and motorbike stunts thrilled crowds when the circus came to town.
Uncle Sam’s Great American Circus spent five days at the Tetley Stadium in Dewsbury entertaining families with comic skits, breathtaking acrobatics and daring stunts.
The show opened with performers Los Marinos in the Wheel of Death, before springboard stunts from The Andre Troupe.
Other acts included the Kirow Brothers, Duo Garcia and their aerial rocket and Captain America with his comedy high bar routine.
The two-hour show closed with the Thunderball Riders in the globe of death, a high speed stunt with two motorbikes racing around a giant metal ball.
