TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder following yesterday’s discovery of a badly burned body.
A 39 year old man and a 32 year man were arrested in connection with the discovery of the body near Holme Lane, Tong, at 6.40am yesterday.
Senior Investigating Officer, Det Supt Paul Taylor, said: “A post mortem on the body will be conducted today and we are currently working with the Coroner to make a formal identification.
“Last night officers attended an address on Eggleston Drive in the Holmewood area of Bradford which will now be the subject of forensic examinations.
“Following our initial enquiries, we are not drawing any connection to the recent incident on New Lane in Tong.“I believe the answers to this discovery near Holme Lane lie locally and we would ask anyone who may have any information or any witnesses to contact the police immediately at the Incident Room on 01924) 334675.”
