Boy robbed at hospital

A BOY became the victim of an attempted robbery as he walked home from school.

The 13-year-old was walking through the grounds of Dewsbury and District Hospital on March 24 when two teenagers asked him for the time.

When he said he did not have a watch, they made him take off his coat and backpack before searching for valuables. They searched his pockets too but left empty-handed.

Police this week released descriptions of the two teenagers.

Both were Asian, aged 16, and had short cropped hair.

One wore a white hooded top and jeans. The other wore a blue hooded top with darker horizontal stripes and brown rectangular glasses.
