AMY Winehouse’s ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil is reportedly fighting for his life in Dewsbury District Hospital after an apparent drink and drugs binge.
Mr Fielder-Civil, who hit headlines when he married the late singer in 2007, was found choking in bed by girlfriend Sarah Aspin after he allegedly went on an afternoon drinking session following a meeting with his probation officer in Morley.
He was rushed to hospital with multiple organ failure and was induced into a coma. He is said to be currently on a life support machine.
A spokesman for Dewsbury and District Hospital said he was unable to confirm or deny the reports.
It is believed the recovering drug addict had gone out drinking with a friend on Thursday after attending an appointment with the Probation Service in Morley, and returned home slurring his words and staggering.
Mr Fielder-Civil, who was divorced from Amy Winehouse two years after their wedding, has battled an addiction to heroin and spent time in prison in 2007.
He was jailed again at Leeds Crown Court in June last year for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm but was released on probation two weeks ago.
