Work to start on Dewsbury's derelict funeral parlour

WORK on Dewsbury's derelict Co-op funeral parlour is expected to begin early next year.
The building on Northgate will be redeveloped to include retail space, an arcade and 24 apartments.

David Wyles, from Kirklees Council's regeneration development service, said: "Having got the planning permission, the owner has to go for building regulations permission as well."
