SHOPPERS can put their fitness skills to the test this weekend by taking on a Sports Relief challenge.
For a £2 donation, Dewsbury retailers and shoppers will be able to hop on an exercise bike or rowing machine to see how fast they can cover a mile.

The speediest competitors will earn a place on league tables for the top man, woman and town centre business.

Meanwhile, children will be able to take part in a hula hoop challenge.

Dewsbury Retail Forum is hosting the fundraiser with the support of Dewsbury Sports Centre.

Cash raised by the event will go to the Sports Relief appeal, which helps poor and vulnerable people in the UK and overseas.

To put your skills to the test, head down to Market Place on Saturday, 10am-3pm.
