A WOMAN who killed her Mirfield grandmother with a spade has been convicted of her murder.
Joanne Hussey was found guilty today after 50 minutes of jury deliberation.
Hussey, who claims voices in her head had told her to 'get rid of grandma', bludgeoned her 77-year-old grandmother Annie Garbutt, of The Clough, Battyeford, to death with a 6lb garden spade on May 7 last year.
