Robbers grab £250 in raid at bookies

ARMED robbers escaped with almost £250 in cash after threatening staff at a Staincliffe bookmakers.
The two men entered the Coral bookmakers on Dewsbury Gate Road at about 9.10pm last Wednesday and ran of with £250 in cash after threatening staff with a knife.

Both men are described as Asian, aged 16-18, about 5ft 10in tall and of slim build. One had short black hair combed forward into a fringe. He wore a camouflage parka with brown fur-lined hood, dark trousers and black and white footwear. He was carrying an 8in knife.

The other had thick eyebrows and wore a dark-hooded jacket with lighter horizontal stripes on the back and white writing on the front.
