MINISTERS and church stewards took centre stage for a pantomime with a difference.
The Journey Home is a Christian panto following a group of friends making a journey together.

Along the way they meet panto favourites from giants and genies to the ghastly ugly sisters.

Among the stars are the Rev Canon Kevin Partington from Dewsbury Minster, the Rev Peter Bates from Thornhill Methodist and the Rev Tony Musgreave from the Church of the Nazarene.

A free screening of the filmed pantomime will take place at Thornhill Social Club, Overthorpe Road, on Thursday at 7pm and will be followed by refreshments.
