CHILDREN at a Thornhill church got to meet talking farm animals when a puppet show came to visit.
Buggy Praise, Thornhill Parish Church's group for parents and young children, welcomed puppet theatre Hand to Mouth for a show on Tuesday. The performance told the story of a sheep who strayed from the rest of its flock.

Canon Lindsay Dew said: "It was absolutely fantastic, the children reacted brilliantly, their little faces were a picture."

The Buggy Praise group meets at the church, on Church Lane, at 10am on the first and third Tuesdays of each month during term time.
