IT was a case of no pain, no gain, for one Dewsbury councillor when he underwent a chest waxing for Children In Need.
Dewsbury South Coun Masood Ahmed (Lab) also had his legs waxed at The Cutting Room, Northgate, on Friday – an experience he is unlikely to forget.

He said: "Now I know what women have to go through - and my sympathies go out to them!

"At least there was a gain for the pain, with money raised going towards disadvantaged children nationally and locally.

"The staff at The Cutting Room were fantastic and helped to relax me during my painful ordeal."
