A DEWSBURY supermarket is giving away a free pint of low fat milk to every customer today to help them lead a healthier lifestyle.
The giveaway is part of Sainsbury's Make the Difference campaign which features monthly events to encourage positive change on environmental, health and ethical issues.

All customers using the store today will be given a coupon for a pint of Sainsbury's one per cent fat milk.

The milk, which is already popular in the US and Canada, has 40 per cent less fat than semi-skimmed milk but the same amount of calcium and vitamin B.

The store says that if all UK semi-skimmed consumers switched to the low fat milk they could reduce their saturated fat intake by 12,000 tonnes a year.
