SO Gordon Brown has decided to donate £50m to help the Burmese people, for whom I have the utmost sympathy.
It's a pity similar help was not so forthcoming to the folk in Yorkshire when they were flooded some time back.
I'm an agnostic, but in view of the earthquake in China, could this be retribution for the way China has treated the people of Tibet?
They say God moves in a mysterious way, so maybe there is someone up there after all.
