I WAS evacuated from Merseyside and attended the Wheelwright Grammar School from 1942 to 1945. I lived with my uncle and aunt. My uncle was Holland Booth and he was Town Clerk of Dewsbury.

I have happy memories ofclassmates and staff, and a few photos.

Is there an Old Boys’ association where I could possibly contact old classmates – those still standing!!!!
